Nicromed is a Beryllium FREE, Cadmium FREE, Nickel-Chromium Base Alloy for porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) restoration. The formulation is highly biocompatible, with a coefficient of thermal expansion that is well-suited for most popular porcelains. The applications for Nicromed are full single unit, multiple unit bridgework, full cast crowns, and Maryland Bridge as well as many other similar applications.
